Peggy Ann Lewis

Peggy Ann Davis Lewis, native of Moundville, Alabama and longtime resident of Fairhope, Alabama departed this earthly realm on October 17, 2022 at the age of 78 to enter Glory.Peggy was born August 19, 1944 to parents Sydney and Sadie Davis. She was the baby of an impressive 10 children. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Mr. Billy E. Lewis; children Dana Mayfield (Tommy) and David Lewis (Naomi); grandchildren Amber Myers (Steven), Kyle Eubanks (Malayia), and Sydney Lewis; great-grandchildren Billy Myers, Elijah Eubanks, and Charlie Eubanks; siblings Jean Foster, Bobby Davis, and Albert Davis; many nieces and nephews.Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Syd and Sadie Davis; brothers Edgar Davis, Howard Davis, Syd Davis Jr.; sisters Sarah Powell and Mary Lee.In life, Peggy assumed the noble task of being a mother and homemaker and served all with great love and devotion. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Cancer Research Institute.
