With sad and heavy hearts, we must come together to say our final goodbye to our beloved family member, Randy Ray Roberson. He is no longer in pain and rests in God's palm, in his eternal heavenly home.
Randy was born to this world on January 26, 1960, and passed away on September 27, 2026.
Throughout his journey in this wonderful life, Randy accomplished many beautiful deeds and left his mark on friends and family.
He tried his hand at many careers: artist, entertainer, shop owner, health care, and long-haul truck driver. Randy always returned to his love of Floristry. He was a gifted designer. Randy produced breathtaking designs and arrangements with every flower he touched.
Early in his career, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he became the personal florist for celebrities, including Sammy Davis Jr. and Wayne Newton.
Randy was instrumental in many of the Mardi Gras organizations. He helped design sets for the balls, costumes, and trains for kings and queens. He and other friends have had their work displayed in the Mobile Carnival Museum.
Randy found fulfillment in his long-term employment with Belle Bouquet; there he enjoyed his work and was treated like family by Miss Edna.
Randy's biggest and most important job was herding his family. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was successful in managing to make every one of them feel like they were the one he loved most. It was a job well done. The hole he is leaving in our family is deep; our hearts are truly broken.
Randy is preceded in Death by his father, Jimmie Ray Roberson, his mother, Judy Godwin Roberson, and his two sisters, Patricia Lynn Roberson and Kelly Ann Roberson. Randy is survived by his brother, James Edward "Eddie" Roberson, with Eddie's wife, Tammy Roberson, and his sister, Belinda Gail Roshetko.
As we prepare to celebrate his life and say our final goodbye, we invite you to join us in sharing your love, laughter, and tears with this large, messy, loud, and very loving family. May God lift us up into his loving hands that we may find peace and healing from our loss.
