Richard "Dick" Carl Wampler

Richard “Dick” Carl Wampler passed away at Saads Inpatient Hospice in Mobile, AL on Friday October 9, 2020. He is preceded in death by his wife Carole Ruth (Lofgren) Wampler of Satsuma and his parents Effie Virginia (Wampler) and Harry Ebersole from Palmyra, PA. “Hapa” is survived by three children-Patti Reichenbach (John), LeAnne Crocker and Rick Wampler; five grandchildren-Matt Reichenbach (Abbey), Brian Reichenbach (Dani), Cassie Alford (Jared), John R. Reichenbach, and Lauren Andrews (Cody) and 6 great-grandchildren-Zoey Reichenbach, Hartleigh Alford, Eli Reichenbach, Davie Alford, Penny Alford, and Rylee Reichenbach. Prior to moving to Satsuma 43 years ago, he lived in Joliet, IL. He retired from Olin Chemicals in McIntosh, AL. Funeral service will be held Thurs Oct 15, 2020 at 12:00pm at the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Road, Saraland, AL 36571. Visitation will be open to friends from 11:00am to time of service. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
