Ronald Edwin Doggette

Ronald Edwin Doggette, of Saraland, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on July 23, 2026, at the age of 70. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Ronald was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, beloved son, and loyal friend. He was a hardworking man whose dedication and strong work ethic were evident in everything he did. After many years as a crane operator, he retired knowing he had built a life centered on providing for and caring for his family. Retirement never slowed Ronald down. He always had a project to work on and enjoyed staying busy.

Earlier in life, he proudly served for a time in the United States Air Force.

Ronald had a special place in his heart for animals. He was a passionate advocate for their care and welfare, and his compassion was evident in the simple routines that brought him joy. He never missed a day of feeding the birds and squirrels that visited his yard. His faithful dog and best friend, Max, was a constant companion and cherished member of the family.

More than anything, Ronald loved his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvie Doggette.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 45 years, Debbie Doggette; daughter, Haleigh Parker (Matt); son, Heath Doggette (Ashley); grandsons, Isaac and Noah Parker; mother, Mildred Doggette and faithful companion, Max; as well as many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and sense of humor.

Although Ronald will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the love he gave so freely, and the countless memories shared with those who knew him. His family finds comfort in knowing that the impact he made will continue to be felt for generations.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
