Ronald Jackson Sterling

Ronald was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a former Golden Gloves boxing champion. His dedication to hard work, discipline, and family was evident in every part of his life. After his time in the ring, he continued to inspire others by helping coach his daughters and grandsons in sports, creating memories and passing down values that will last for generations.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of many years, Edna Sterling, who passed away two years ago. Together, they built a legacy rooted in love, family, and strength.

Ronald is survived by his daughters, Christie White (Michael) and Amie Sterling-Domingue (Brad); his grandchildren, Cameron White (Morgan), Brett White (Mackenzie), Brooke Rotch (Sawyer), Lacie Reed (Peyton), and Alex Domingue, George Kofonis, Seth Shirah (Janice), Brandon Shirah (Jennifer)

He was also the proud great-grandfather of Maddie, Camrey, Callan, Bryce, Andrew, Casen, Reese, Russ, Brayden, Tristan, Chandler, Finley, George, and Alyssa.

Ronald’s life was one of dedication—to his country, his family, and his values. He was a source of unwavering support and endless pride to all who knew him. Whether it was a phone call after a game or a story about the past, Papoo was always present, always cheering, and always loving.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his family, who will carry his memory and his lessons in their hearts forever.
