

Rose Marie Stringer, at the age of eighty-three years, departed this earthly realm to enter Glory on March 21, 2024. Her daughter and son-in-law by her side.She was born February 16, 1941 in Greenville, Mississippi but was a longtime resident of Eight Mile, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Ray Stringer; her parents Mr. & Mrs. John W. Young; son James “Yogi” Allen Everette; grandson Chad Everette; brothers John Henry Young and George Earl Young.Rose is survived by her devoted daughter Debra (Donnie) Brannan; daughter-in-law Nell Everette; grandchildren Donald “Bo” (Jamie) Brannan, Mindy (Jason) Weaver, Jimmy Everette, Claude (Paige) Everette; great grandchildren Reed, John Preston, Olivia, Sophia, Jasmine, Morgan, Ally Bug, Calvin, Madison, Vance Allen; one great great grandchild Prinleigh Snow and her little sister on the way.She worked as a chemical operator at Stauffer Chemical Company, where she worked for fifteen years. Rose loved life, but above all she loved the Lord. Her passion was working, perpetually fixing stuff or making something out of nothing. This admirable talent she passed down to her children, inspiring them to be curious and resourceful.She is affectionately remembered as a lady who would do anything she could if she was needed.As a beautiful mother and nurturer, she loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed playing softball back in the day, camping, fishing, taking girl trips, vacationing, and seeing the world. It is also noted she had a very impressive spoon collection from her travels. She was nothing short of a living treasure and will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
