William Edward Singleton, JR.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Lucille Singleton and sister, Susan Yancy.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rhonda Ann Singleton; son, William E. Singleton III “Gil” (daughter-in-law, Tonya Singleton); son, Christopher Singleton (daughter-in-law, Angelia Singleton); daughter, Wendy Ann Singleton (son-in-law Neil Yeager); sisters Camille Wilkinson, Jackie Foster and Jean Harper; granddaughters, Sarah Kathryn Singleton, Greenlee Ann Yeager and Lyla Elizabeth Singleton; grandson, Blakely Lewis

Will was born in Mobile, Alabama and resided in Satsuma, Alabama for many years.

He was a graduate of Satsuma High School in 1969. He stayed in close contact with many of his cherished friends throughout the years. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast for much of his life. Will loved trail riding with his sons, Gil Singleton and Chris Singleton, and other motorcycle friends. Will’s biggest motorcycle and in life fan was his daughter, Wendy Ann.

As Will often stated, his biggest blessings were his children and wife. Some of the happiest moments were watching his children grow into adulthood and traveling with his wife to such places as Alaska, New England, Mexico, Italy and the Mountains of Tennessee. He was an enthusiastic Auburn Football fan and spent many of his happiest days as a member of the Howard E. Black Masonic Lodge in Satsuma, Alabama

Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn Chapel in Saraland, March 20, 2021. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00pm. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens following the service. If attending, facial masks are required. Please comply with social distancing guidelines.
