Winston Eugene Mitchell, at the age of eighty-one years, passed from this earthly realm into Eternal Life with his Heavenly Father on December 18, 2024.Affectionately known as Gene, he was a Mobile County native born February 26, 1943, and a resident of Saraland Alabama. He is survived by his loving wife Brenda Carlisle Mitchell; devoted daughter Wendy Countryman; precious grandsons Daryl Cory (Caroline) Bell and Mitchell Hunter (Savannaha) Bell; great grandchildren Salem Alivia Bell and Chloe Elizabeth Bell.He is preceded in death by his parents Gordie and Bobbie Elizabeth Mitchell.Gene was an avid outdoorsman who adored the Lord’s Creation, as he loved to be camping with his grandsons, teaching them to hunt and fish. He loved boating on the delta and the splendor of nature, but above all he was dedicated to his family and will be greatly missed.
