David was preceded by his mother Freida Bontrager.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Bontrager; his father Milton Leroy Bontrager Sr.; two sons, David and Michael Bontrager; two daughters, Barbara Lewis and Wendy Musitano, one daughter in law, two sisters, 2 brothers, two sisters in law, a brother in law and seven grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at The Tabernacle Church, 4141 Desoto Road Sarasota, FL 34235 on Sat. Jan. 23rd from 3pm to 4pm, with a service to follow at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to family.
