Edward Robert Goddard, age 96, of Sarasota Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Edward was born on June 6, 1025 in Keene, New Hampshire, son of the late Albert H. Goddard and Rosa Duhaime Goddard.
Known as “Bob” to all his friends and family, he was a decorated World War II veteran serving honorably from 1943 to 1945. He earned a Purple Heart during the European campaign.
Bob was a great husband and father who enjoyed the outdoors with tennis, golf, fishing and a good laugh. He leaves behind his wife Norma of 74 years; son, William, and daughter in- law Andrea; daughter Jeanne, and grandson Craig.
Bob will be returning to his hometown of Rochester, N.H. for a burial ceremony to be held in the spring at Holy Rosary Cemetery 133 Brock St Rochester, N.H.
