
Frank was born on April 21, 1940 to Frank J Kramer Sr. and Stella C Pointek in Wilkes-Barre, PA. After graduating from Marymount High School in 1957, he went on to study Mechanical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University.
After graduation in 1963, he served his country in the US Army from 1964-1966 as a First Lieutenant. Upon completion of active duty he continued to serve in the US Army Reserve until 1969.
Frank was proud to have worked as a Mechanical Engineer for 37 years at Harrison Radiator (A division of General Motors) located in Lockport, NY. Upon retirement in 2000 he continued to consult in the Automotive Engineering field for Sverdrup Technology until 2002.
In 2002 he relocated from North Tonawanda, NY to Camp Hill, PA to be closer to his Brother Andrew B. Kramer and his extended family. After a few years in Pennsylvania, he decided to move to Parrish, FL to be closer to his son Michael F. Kramer and his family.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank and Stella Kramer and other members of the extended family and he is survived by his Son Michael (wife Kate) and grandson Benjamin, Parrish, FL. His Brother Andrew (wife Camile), Mechanicsburg, PA, Janet Runkle (formerly Kramer) (husband John), Mechanicsburg, PA, Thomas Kramer (wife Stephanie) Cape Coral FL and many more cousins, nieces, nephews and others who loved him.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Sarasota, FL (1900 Meadowood Street, Sarasota, FL 34231) with interment at Saint Mary’s Church of the Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming, PA (date not yet determined).
In lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made in his name to Christ the King Catholic Church - 1900 Meadowood Street, Sarasota, FL 34231.
