He was well loved by all who knew him. He was very caring and generous throughout his life and affected many people with his welcoming way. He was interested in politics, and he enjoyed music. He loved his neighbors and friends like they were family. Gary always had time for people who wanted to talk and brought a smile to people with his witty sense of humour. He and Dixi travelled to many places including Israel, Asia, Ireland, Iceland, and Italy before doing 4 river cruises through Europe. Lots of good times revolved around food and friends and family. Dacia and Darren (Chrystal) were both able to spend some great time with Gary in Florida this past year. Also dear to his heart were his many pets.

With the same passion he brought to his businesses, Gary pursued an understanding of scripture and enjoyed spreading the word of God.
He wanted his ashes to be buried in the Family Plot alongside Dixi’s family in New Dundee Ontario. There will be a graveside service in May in Ontario and there will be a Celebration of Life Service in Moncton NB in July.
