George is survived by his wife of 24 years, Patricia, his brother, Herman Paul, identical twin sons, George Edward and Kevin James, and five grandsons, George Peter, Gregory Keith, Lucas Richard, Gustav Edward and Axel Holland.
He was a dedicated husband, brother, father and grandfather. He felt the most important things in life he learned were: you must have courage to live, you must love, and you must have a good sense of humor.
He received a basketball scholarship and graduated from Gannon University in Erie, PA, and an MBA from Columbia University.
George lived in Tokyo, Japan, for five years and Johannesburg, South Africa, for five years, starting companies for Johnson and Johnson. His most proud triumph was patenting and manufacturing the E-Z Boot, a medical device used in hospitals and nursing homes to eliminate pressure on the heel for treatment and prevention of ulcers. He started his own company, Orthotic Rehab, in 1989.
