Greg, We will never forget what you did for our family helping with the adoption of our kids, rest in peace friend!

I met Greg in 2015.  My pastor's family recommended me to him as a fellow Christian attorney.  I was at a crossroads in my legal career.  I was given a choice whether to change fields of law.  I needed guidance.  After meeting Greg, I was inspired to choose estate planning.  For that reason, Greg had a large impact on my life.  In addition, Greg believed in me as a young attorney.  His faith in me made a huge difference because I knew how accomplished he was.  He also showed me that you can be a Christian and be a lawyer.  Greg was also very generous with his time, agreeing to meet me several times for lunch when I knew his time was very valuable.  He always took an interest in you and the things which affected you.  Because of that, he seemed to make friends easily whenever we were out to lunch.  Greg often chose his words carefully when speaking, too.  I believe it was because he wished to show the love of Christ when he spoke the truth to you.  "Be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger."  James 1:19.  I was deeply saddened to learn of Greg's passing.  I am still processing it, trying to grasp that I won't be able to invite him to lunch again and gain a nugget of godly wisdom from him, at least on this side of heaven.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially his children of whom he often spoke with much affection.  I find comfort in Jesus, knowing that Greg is seeing Him now.  Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies," John 11:25.  See you in heaven, Greg.  

Greg was a colleague and neighbor, and friend to my family for many years.  Greg ran a very vibrant and well respected law practice that, through his career, touched the lives of thousands of people in our community.  When I first met him in 2006, he showed me his file room in Venice, and I thought I had walked into the catacombs of Paris with the rows and stacks of folders from floor to ceiling.  Even then, Greg had already served countless people in Sarasota, and he never stopped working.  

He had a reputation for perfection in his work and was always a gentlemen in his business and professional dealings.  We knew him to be perpetually generous, intellectual, kind, and patient… a great human being by all measures.  He left a large footprint in this town and will be immeasurably missed by his peers.  

We met Chief Greg Lee through GATOR WILDERNESS CAMP!!! He was so involved in every aspect at the camp! He treated the boys as if they were his own and shared his faith, knowledge, and so much energy with them. We loved his presentations and sharing of his faith and moved everyone with his humor at the GATOR WILDERNESS CAMP fundraisers! CHIEF GREG LEE we will miss you!! Our hearts are broken but our faith is ever so strong, we saw Greg three weeks before he got so ill, we had our normal conversation but he let us know he had test to be done then he gave us advice and prayer so that we could face the struggles in our lives, we know that Greg May have been our attorney but the Lord brought us together for so much more, we will miss you dear man, but we know you are with the Glory of Our Lord. Rest In Peace dear friend and God wrap his family in your arms to walk this journey. 💜✝️😇 God Bless 

I knew Greg in the 90s when I was working at Merrill Lynch in Sarasota. He was a good friend and business associate to several Financial Advisors I worked with.
He did a lot of seminars at that time and always had a great sense of humor, in addition to his estate planning knowledge.
I am so saddened to hear of his untimely passing. I truly believe he is reunited with 2 close friends from Merrill Lynch that he was very fond of who also passed too soon.
My sincere condolences to his family, and may the memory of this wonderful person live on in their hearts & those who were privileged to know him.

Was blessed to have met Greg  back in the 80's.  I was moved by the "Jericho March" around the first house he bought in Sarasota and writing scriptures on his walls, with a group of young adults I was with from FOB.  Such a kind, funny and respectful man of God.  
One's relationship with God was strengthened by witnessing Greg walk out his faith in all types of hills and valleys.

I've known Greg since the late 80's when we shared clients and presentations while I was with Merrill Lynch in Venice. Greg not only knew about trusts and estates, but he was exciting and funny in his delivery. His clients absolutely loved him. Greg had class and character and always did the right thing for his clients. I've since retired but had occasion to catch up with Greg recently when he updated my aunt's documents. I can't begin to tell you how shocked I was this Sunday when I read about his passing. We want to offer our deepest condolences to his family. We will all miss him.

My mother and I are deeply saddened to learn of Greg's passing. Greg was more than our atty but a personal friend who was impacted greatly by his love for Christ and his ministry to myself and all. Deepest condolences to Kimberly and the family. Greg's memory will live on through me. May he dwell in the presence of God, see you there.

We are clients of Greg’s and we lost my dad to dementia in July. Greg held our hand through many a hard day dealing with my dad during this last year. I honestly don’t know how we would have gotten through it without his direction and kindness. He went over and above for us, as I’m sure he did for all of his clients. He was an incredibly kind person and a brilliant attorney. We will be forever grateful for the brief time he was in our lives. God bless his family and his amazing staff. Greg was one of the finest men I ever met.  I am in my 80's & I've known Greg since my children were in elementary school.  So, it's been a very long time.  He was a decent human being. Mr. Lee was a true gentleman, and a kind soul who showed unlimited compassion.  I am lucky to have known him as my attorney, and even luckier to have considered him a friend. I first got to know Greg when we were both on the A Bond of Love adoption agency board of directors. His humor, his wit, and his love of God was evident in his interactions with others. He was a friend, our attorney, and a Brother in Christ. A year ago, we had our will revised as I was facing death. It’s hard to believe a year later Greg has gone to be with the Lord.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God’s peace be felt by all who knew Greg.

I am so sorry for Greg's family in their loss of a great man who was very involved in his community.  I used to attend his single's Bible Study in the mid-1980's and learned a lot there that helped me grow spiritually.  He opened his home to a group of 50-60 of us all packed into his small living room.  It was so good and meaningful that we all didn't mind the crowdedness!  Looked forward to this every week!  For his family, I'm just one of many who would confirm that he lived his life to the fullest. You have my deep sympathy.
