Jeffrey was a Pharmacist and a graduate of University of Illinois earning his Doctor of Oral maxillofacial degree.
He married his beloved Magdalena "Maggie" Reyes on October 28, 1989.
His career in oral surgery was with Ryan C. Taylor in Sarasota, Florida.
His favorite pastimes included boating, sports and he loved to cook.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Magdalena Reyes; a son, Derek Garcia; and one grandchild, Aiden Garcia.
A Celebration of Life Funeral will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with tributes shared at 12:00 pm at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 7454 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231.
Jeffrey wanted no flowers sent. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc. Sarasota.
