Lester (Larry) Abraham Schuster, born July 26th 1925, passed away on Tuesday, November 11th, 2014. It was Veterans' Day, and he would have liked that. A Purple Heart veteran of WWII, Larry lived a long full life, even after being mortally wounded during the invasion of Europe; left for dead with an upside down bayonet. He spent over a year in hospitals. After the war, he went on to raise a family and earn his MBA. Larry is survived by his children, Matthew, Jamie, Rennie and Daniel; grandchildren Adam, Anna, Natalie and Alex; stepchildren Steven, Joshua and Laura; and nine step-grandchildren. He is also survived by the love of his life, his wife of 34 years, Maram P. Schuster. Larry loved boating, fishing, tennis, ping pong, Bridge and Spite & Malice. He also loved going to the theater, movies and dining out with Maram. He was a loving husband and a great person. He will be missed terribly by all who knew him. Graveside service will be held 10:00am, Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Sarasota National Cemetery with military honors.
