Linda Kaye Mockovciak May 16, 1957-January 6, 2019 Born in Anniston Alabama

Linda was an incredibly beautiful woman who loved God and delighted in her family. She was strong and courageous, warm and compassionate, supportive and encouraging, hardworking, and she loved with her whole heart. She called her parents ever day as she adored them, she was very close to her brother, she was her daughter’s best friend, and her husband’s faithful and loyal companion of 45 years. She would do anything for her family and she did. The last 1.5 years she gave her all just for one more day, one last moment with them. Even when it meant being painfully ill, she was willing to give all of herself. She was a prayer warrior. She started every day in prayer and meditation and rejoiced when her long time prayer was answered when her daughter gave her heart to Jesus. She was well known for her words of life and encouragement and the cards she would send to cheer and inspire. She fought the good fight and she will receive the crown of life for her perseverance and service to the Lord. Her family is heartbroken and misses her so much, but knows that they will soon see her again in Heaven. Survived by Rev. Charles and Donice Hunt, Charlie Hunt, Samuel Mockovciak and Amber Mockovciak. Services will be held on Saturday the 19th @ 11:00 at the Church of Hope in Sarasota.

Linda was a very special person. I enjoyed our talks in the morning She always asked about my family and always said how proud she was of Amber. I will miss receiving cards from her. In her last card to me she said I was one of the first people she met at the SAO and how welcome I made her feel. I will miss her.

Dear Sam and Amber,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I remember the year I worked at the Criminal Justice building and I used to “run” into Linda in the stairwell. She always had a smile and a kind word for me. I also knew her through Amber. Amber I worked together for number of years in Venice.
May the Blessings be! Love you Amber, and I will be there Saturday in spirit. Liz

I am so sorry for your loss. I regret that I have to be out of town on the 19th and unable to attend the services. Otherwise, for sure I would be there. It was a pleasure to work with Linda for 6 years and after my departure with Linda. She was always willing to help and so kind!

You will be missed. My heart aches for the family.
God has her in His care now. Rest in Peace Linda.
Love you
Varinia

Linda was a lady with a heart of gold and if you were not at your best, she would smile and tell that all will be ok with God there beside you. She was a beautiful lady and had a smile that always made you smile too. I know I will miss seeing her as my neighbor because of her uplifting spirit could always make for a good day. I will always keep her spirit alive in my heart and know that will help me when times get tough, as she will remind me God is here to help. Thank You Linda.
With all my heart.
