Magdalene Koch, 79 of Sarasota, FL died Jan. 22, 2015. She was born in Hungary and moved to Sarasota from Chicago, IL in 1979. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Her survivors include her husband, John; son, Michael J. Koch of Myakka City, FL; daughter, Mary Ann Muir of Sarasota, FL; brother John Elmer of California and two grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with interment to follow at Sarasota Memorial Park.
