MARIA CECILIA GARCIA SCHIELZETH Born December 29, 1925 in San Jose, Costa Rica, Maria was blessed to be the daughter of her unconditionally loving parents Juan and Rosario Schielzeth. Crowned Miss Costa Rica in 1942, Maria joined her parents and sister Yolanda in moving to San Francisco. While attending Notre Dame High School, she won a Gold Medal at 18 years of age for her perfect rendition of Da Vinci's Last Supper. A consummate artist on canvas and porcelain, Maria is survived by her sons Albert & his wife Christine, Jimmy, grandchildren Christian, Alexandra and Lucas; as well as her great grandchild Giuliana. Maria dedicated her life to always lovingly being there for her sons and hands-on caring for both of her parents in their latter years. Forever, Maria will be remembered for her altruistic dignity and her passion for living life to the fullest.
