Martha Miller Fisher

Martha Fisher (née Miller) died after a short illness on July 30, 2016 in Sarasota, Florida at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband Eli D Fisher; her parents, Mahlon and Gertrude Miller of Sarasota; daughters Eileen Kaye Duncan of Sarasota and Jayne Ann Fisher of Bloomfield, Ohio; and sons Glenn F. Fisher of Orwell, Ohio, and Dwight G. Fisher of Bloomfield. She is survived by daughters Barbara Ann Mack (husband Brad) of Bryan, Ohio; Mary Lou Bentfeld (Bob) of Champion, Ohio; Eli Fisher (Doris) of Pulaski, Tennessee; Fred Fisher of Parkman, Ohio; Diana Bridgewater (Ivan) of Bradenton, Florida; and Linda Fisher of Sarasota. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was born May 31, 1929 in Middlefield, Ohio. She attended Troy School in Ohio. She married Eli Fisher of Bloomfield, Ohio, on January 23, 1950, in Greenup, Kentucky. They lived in Bloomfield and Burton, Ohio; and had 10 children. After moving to Sarasota, she worked for the Sarasota school system. Services will be held at the First Brethren Church in Sarasota and The First United Methodist Church in Bloomfield. She will be buried in Brownwood Cemetery in Bloomfield.
