Mary L. Yahraus, 88, of Sarasota, FL formerly of Willoughby, OH passed away on Nov. 28, 2015. Mary was born on Dec. 2nd, 1926 to the late Harvey and Freda Lanning. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years George Sr.; siblings, Willard, Bernetta, Lillian, John and Gladys.
Mary is survived by her precious children Susan, George Jr., Donna and David; grandchildren, Annette, Delaney, Robby, David, Michelle and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Cameron, Olivia, Simone, Zoe and Blake; sisters, Alice Troglin and Beverly Salter Bailey and cousin Meta Ackley. Mary also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Mary’s greatest attribute was the love for all children. All neighborhood children congregated at her house after school where they have delicious snacks prepared by Mary.
Mary was a faithful member of 1st Baptist Church of Osprey for 60 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Osprey on Saturday December, 12 at 10am.
