Nancy "Jane" Meadows, age 80, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on October 20, 2026, under the care of Affinity Hospice. Jane was born on September 21, 1946, in Franklin, Indiana to the late Forest and Mary Barker Davidson.
Jane worked for several years and retired from K-Mart, and later worked for Walmart.
She was a member of Greenwood Christian Church in Greenwood, Indiana.
She was an avid bowler, and loved arts and crafts, sewing (her passion) and card making.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death from her husband, Gary Meadows; her siblings, William, Mark, Barbara and Jerry.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Sheri (John) Southworth, and a son, Tracy Meadows; grandchildren, Jessica Hotchkiss, Clay Southworth, Meadow Southworth, Kyle Meadows; a sister, Carolyn Compton, a brother, Michael Davidson; and several great grandchildren.
Services will be private by the family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Dementia Society of America, or charity of donor's choice.
