Robert Leroy Coffey, age 57, of Sarasota, Florida went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. He was born to a loving family as the second of four boys, to the late Douglas W. Coffey, Sr. and Carolyn Sue Coffey, on August 24, 1964 in Sarasota, Florida where he lived all his life.
He always enjoyed his family farm in Myakka City where they raised cattle, had an abundant vegetable garden and enjoyed evenings by the fire. Rob followed his father’s legacy and worked in the air conditioning trade throughout his life. He enjoyed spending his vacations in the Great Smoky Mountains each year with his family.
There will be a service to celebrate Rob’s life on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home - Wiegand Chapel, 7454 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Church of Hope, Sarasota, FL www.churchofhope.com/giving
Rob proceeds his father’s passing, Douglas. W. Coffey. In addition to his mother, Carolyn Sue Coffey; he is survived by brothers, Douglas Jr., Victor “Bruce”, Brian Coffey; sister in-law, Wendy Coffey; nieces, Kylie, Ashleigh, and Lilyana; nephews, Jared, Tyler, and Zakary Coffey.
