MURPHY, Robert Pollard Jul. 17, 1930-Dec. 14, 2016 Robert P. Murphy, 86, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Providence, RI passed away on December 14, 2016. He was born in Providence to the late James and Mildrena (Evans) Murphy. Robert was a United States Air Force veteran and retired as a Clerk with the Rhode Island Courts. Robert is survived by his sisters, Janice Gilligan of Osprey, FL and Carole Flynn of Warwick, RI; a brother, James Murphy of Austin, TX and 19 nieces and nephews.
