Roger Lee Lederman

On March 9 1968 he was united in marriage to Mary Ann (Kanagy) and they enjoyed 49 years of marriage until her passing October 9 2015. He is survived by 2 children, Amy (Lederman) Anglin and Matthew Lederman. Son in Law Craig Anglin and grandsons Oliver and Sawyer Anglin.

He was blessed again Feb 23 2019 in marriage to Betty (Wall) Lederman and is survived by her and his brother, Darrel Lederman; sister-in-law, Becky Lederman; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Lou Ann Kanagy; and sister-in-law, Cynthia McAtee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as some aunts and uncles all over the united states.

He is preceded in death by both parents, Paul and Catherine Lederman; and brother, Arnold (Dean) Lederman.

Roger met Mary Ann in Sarasota FL after he and his brother moved from Leo Indiana. He worked for Sommers and did the accounting for over 20 years and then was the director of landscaping for Sunnyside Village for 17 years until he retired at age 66.

He was a member of Bayshore Mennonite church for many years and has been most recently attending church at the Chapel at Sunnyside.

Roger loved to ride bike, swim, pickleball, ping pong, and many other outside activities. He enjoyed singing and performing with the Joymakers, gardening and growing beautiful flowers as well. Roger was very fond of watching his grandsons play sports and most recently his grandson perform. He also loved to travel and go to concerts and plays with his wife Betty. Ultimately Roger lived a wonderful life and was loved by many. Although his passing is painful and difficult for us to understand, we thank God for the happy Christian home that he and Mary Ann established, and now the comfort is in the knowledge that he has gone to be with the Savior he loved.
