Thomas E. "Thom" Scott died on March 24, 2015 in Tampa, FL at age 60 after a long illness. He was born and raised in Sarasota, FL and earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He remained in Tampa for the remainder of his life and was employed by Walk-In Clinics as a laboratory technician. Thom was predeceased by his brother Brad and survived by his parents Dr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Scott, Jr., brother Steve, sister Laura, nephews Scott and Sean Boncoskey, and niece Caroline Boncoskey. Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, and the family will plan a private celebration of life at a later date.
