Wesley J Baxter

Wesley “J” Baxter passed away to be with his Savior, JESUS CHRIST, on April 19, 2015, at his home in Sarasota, Florida. Wes was born on November 23, 1930, in Lansing, Michigan. He was a faithful church attainder at Faith Baptist Church, Sarasota, FL. Wes was a veteran of the United States Navy. Wes loved boating, fishing, playing golf, camping in our motor home, and family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene, his mother Gladys, and brothers Richard and Eugene, and nephew Danny O’Neal. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis O’Neal; and his wife, Joyce; and children Dianne McBroom, Gary Baxter and wife Dolores, Greggory Baxter and wife Beth, Denise Long; and grandchildren Benjamin and Emily Baxter; Jasmine (Long) Spear and husband Jake Spear; and Michael Long; Stephanie (Baxter) Lopes, and husband, Tom; Lynn Baxter; Samantha Baxter; Stacie (McBroom) DeMint and husband Shayne DeMint; Daniel Denson and wife Liz, Cloreece Freeman, Georgia Finuf and husband Jerry. And numerous great grandchildren. Service to be held at Faith Baptist Church 8751 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, FL on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 1:00 P.M.
