Albert Smishek

October 13, 1949 - November 13, 2018

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Al Smishek. Al passed away peacefully Tuesday evening in the arms of his loving daughter Maxine Smishek. Al was predeceased by his father Bronie Smishek and mother Carrie Smishek (Ewanchuk). Al leaves behind his siblings and “the outlaws”: Terry and Monica Smishek, Nellie and Dennis McMillan, Jane and Greg Brown, Wanda Smishek, Margaret and Murray Thiessen, Michael and Tammie Smishek, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his very special Aunt Joan Robertson. Al worked for the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority as assistant manager until he happily retired in 2008. He enjoyed numerous activities such as fishing, golfing, curling, crosswords and of course a game of Kaiser. Al’s greatest pleasure was working on projects with his daughter and spending time in the company of friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Lynx Wing, 2407 Ave. C North between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. with special words at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements in care of Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
