Albina passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Saskatoon, SK. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor; son, Lyle Doktor; parents, Adam and Nettie Pochipinski; 10 siblings and other extended family. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Brenda (Roy) Evans, Bev Doktor (Robin Drysdale), Larry Doktor, Lorne (Slav) Doktor, Charmaine Gursky (Terry Mayer), and Charlene (Kevin) Kowbel; grandchildren, Wendy Doktor, Jason (Corrie) Evans, Shamus (Fawn) Krewishen, Andrew Evans, Chelsey Krewishen (Brett Friesen), Michael Doktor, Ashley Gursky, Vicky (Lee) Cowles, Taylor Kowbel, Riley Kowbel, Cody Gursky, Andrew Doktor, and Eric Doktor; great grandchildren, Carter Krewishen, Cash Arno, Skye Friesen, Ryder Friesen, Krysta Cowles, Alysa Cowles, and Raylan Cowles; brothers, Domonic and Joseph; sister, Olive; and all her friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 362. Babba was born July 24, 1938 at Fish Creek, SK. She was fun loving and enjoyed many activities through her years. She particularly liked cards and games shared with her family and friends. She loved to dance. Baba also enjoyed being outside tending to her garden and flowers. The most important to her however was spending time with family and friends, enjoying their company, and cooking meals. Working and being a member of the Nutana Legion provided her with many strong friendships. A Service of Remembrance will be held from the Nutana Legion (3021 Louise ST., Saskatoon) on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of other tributes, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
