Allan passed away peacefully on February 12, 2015. Allan was born in Dunblane, SK on March 9, 1929. He worked for the CN for 38 and half years. Allan loved his golfing and bowling until his health declined. Due to poor health Allan was housebound for the last 14 months. Allan is lovingly remembered his loving wife of 58 years Theresa; his brother Gordon Amerud of International Falls, USA; his four children, Donna Lummerding of Saskatoon, Sharon (Casper Roerick) of Minot ,ND, Dale (Denise Prive) Amerud Saskatoon, SK and Karen (Gordon Sillers) Langley BC; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Allan requested there be no Funeral Service. A Memorial tea will be held later in the spring at which time an announcement will be placed in the Star Phoenix.
