Allan Charles Wilyman

July 2, 1949 - April 8, 2015

Son of Lawrence Wilyman (deceased) and Annie (Buitenhaus) Wilyman, husband of Joanne Lang, father of Christopher Wilyman and Andrew (Lindsay Schwebius) Wilyman, stepdad to Andrea (Ken) Chrun and Erica (Frank) Shand. Allan passed quietly in his sleep after a 15 year journey with Multiple System Atrophy.   He is survived by his siblings Dianne Sharp, Bob (Elaine) Wilyman, Tony (Kelly) Wilyman and Larry (Cathy) Wilyman; his father-in-law Joe (Evelyn - deceased)  Lang and Joanne's siblings Rick (Rose) Lang, Donna (Bruce) Toner, Debra (Kerry) Young and Ron (Grace) Lang.  He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, co-workers and his friends. Allan introduced Joanne to ballroom dancing and together they performed in 17 demonstrations with the U of S student dance team.  He treasured time spent at the lake and relished the quiet and calm of fishing at 5 a.m.  He was foster-daddy to over 30 rescue dogs and exercised remarkable restraint by adopting only Pippa and Skittles!  His yearly vacations at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah were a highlight for him.  He retired from PCS Cory in January 2014.  In lieu of flowers, Allan would be pleased by donations to charities benefiting children. Allan attracted wonderful and supportive people over the course of his life. We thank each and every one of you for being a part of it. You made him the beautiful person we all knew and loved.
