Alma Klein passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Sunnyside Care Home after a lengthy illness at 89 years of age. She was one of six children born to John and Lydia Brack in Cupar, SK. She moved with her family to Clark’s Crossing where the family had a dairy farm. She went to a country school and then attended Technical College where she developed skills in sewing and cooking which would come in handy later in her life. After graduation she worked as a receptionist at C.F.Q.C. where she met her husband, Tony. Alma was predeceased by her parents John and Lydia Brack; 3 brothers Bob, Irvin and Lawrence; sister Edna; son Jim (age 21); and great-granddaughter Briar Holderness. She is survived by her husband Tony; brother Lloyd (Beth); 8 children Ken (Sheryl), Ron (Angie), Dennis (Donna), Lenny (Briane Scharfstein), Bob (Bev), Jerry (Karen), Rick (Carolanne) and Judy (Paul Bemister); 33 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren. We will miss you but are comforted to know you are at peace and you will remain in our hearts always, loved and never forgotten. Rest in Peace. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan (2550 12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (1902 Munroe Ave. S.) in Saskatoon.
