Alvin ""Al"" Elec Basky

May 17, 1950 – February 22, 2015

Al Basky of Saskatoon, SK passed away, at the age of 64 years, peacefully with his family at his side. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Karen of 28 years; his children Maighan (Nathan) Grant of Mackay, Australia and Kara (Rubin) of Saskatoon; four granddaughters Ayva, Zeiah, Lexi and Trinity. He is also survived by two brothers Ron (Sheilagh) of Saskatoon and Dalton (Donna) of Wadena; three sisters Eleanor (Norman) Hovland of Bridgewater, N.S., Edith (Allan) McPherson of Brighton, ON and Darlene (Dennis) Broughton of Kamloops, B.C.; his wife's parents Alec and Phyllis Skakun of Saskatoon and his sister-in-law Sandi (Clint) Ives of Saskatoon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to everyone at the ICU at RUH. A Celebration of Al’s Life will be held at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon) on Friday, February 27th at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
