Anna passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 89, at Sherbrooke Community Centre. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank of 67 years; three children, Linda (Larry) Smith, Glen, and Cindy (Glenn) Peckenpaugh; five grandchildren; five step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; brother, Tony (Helen) Garman; sisters-in-law, Clara Garman, Marian Garman, Agatha Bentley, and Rose (Edward) Kary; brothers-in-law, Andrew Berger (Jeanne Moate), Martin Berger, and John Berger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Magdalena (Weninger) Garman; sisters, Rose (George) Singer, Minnie (Marshall) Funk, Helen (Joe) Zerr, and Emma Berger; brothers-in-law, Alex Berger, George Berger, and Don Bentley; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Berger. The family wishes to thank the nurses and caregivers of House 6 at Kinsmen Village and Sherbrooke Community Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Sherbrooke Community Centre or Saskatchewan Cancer Society. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 20th at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (222 Willow St).
