With deep sadness and much gratitude for her long life, the family announces the passing of their dear aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt, Beverly Margaret Vetter. Bev passed away peacefully at the Hospice at Glengarda on February 1, 2026.
Bev was born in Macklin, Saskatchewan, and raised in Englefeld, Saskatchewan. She spent her working years as an executive assistant with Petro-Canada in Calgary, where she formed many lasting friendships. In 2010, Bev relocated to Saskatoon to be closer to family.
Bev was a creative and patient soul who spent many hours doing petit point and crossword puzzles. In her later years she happily embraced the iPad, spending countless hours doing puzzles and playing games, while keeping up to date on events of the church and the world.
Grounded in a deep Roman Catholic faith, Bev was a very spiritual person for whom her church life was of utmost importance. She drew great strength from and took joy in belonging to many prayer groups over the years.
Aunt Bev is lovingly remembered by her nephew Brad (Tracy) Cocks and their children Nicole (Ryan), Ryan (Brittany), and Rachel (Kelton), and by her niece Laureea (Patrick) Kuprowski and their sons Taylor (Kate) and Dallon (Madison). She was also blessed with three great-great-nephews: Jackson, Will, and Jack. Bev was predeceased by her parents Michael and Florentine Vetter; her sisters Verle (Roy) Cocks and Lorraine (Stoney) LaBine; her brother Melvin; and her niece Judy Kenny.
