I worked with Cami at Freshco. She was always stepping up to help cover shifts when people couldn’t come in. She covered a shift for me and when I went to post a thank you I accidentally posted a ghost with a heart. She responded with Bwahahaha no problemo. To Cami’s family and extended family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your shining star, Cami. On behalf of all of her teachers over the years, I send love and condolences. Cami was always a special, unique, kind student who lit up the room with her quirkiness and sense of humour. One of my strongest actors in a musical was Cami as Mowgli at Montgomery School. She will be truly missed. 

My sweet, beautiful Gem of a girl. My heart felt at home when you were here with me. You brought a comfort to those you knew, that I don't think you ever realized. How your smile lit up our hearts and your giggle was just completely contagious. You were genuine. You made friends wherever you went and had us all rolling with laughter. Our *Hami* as you so aptly called yourself as a child not knowing just how Funny that was in itself.  I can't imagine a better binge watch buddy. You always cheered me up when I was sad even when I know you were struggling too. You were just that gracious and kind.  Your wit was quick and sharp and you'd always say "I think I'm real funny".  I thought so too, and home here on Earth simply won't ever be the same without you and your brilliant light. I'll always love you my Camicakes. Gone but never ever forgotten. You are my Sunshine! From a very young age, people have always been drawn to Cami.  I remember a cashier that always got so excited to see her when  mammaw brought her in the store when she was just a toddler, and she always asked about Cami when she wasn't there...for years.  Her face always lit up immediately at the sight or mention of Cami.  That was just Cami, there was just always something about her that drew people in.  She had that kind of soul, and although we all knew her in many different ways, we all knew that she was special and unique.  She was beyond intelligent, she was animated, she was hilarious, she was beautiful...she was Cami.  I adored her from the moment she was born, as our family said she looked just like me as a baby, and she did.  She and I always just got each other, and I always loved that, as in many ways, we had a lot in common.  I wish we had lived closer to one another and we could've spent more time together, but I am so very grateful for the times we did share and the memories I have.  I couldn't have loved her anymore if she was my own.  I will love and miss you always, Cam❤️ Love Aunt Stacy

Oh, Cami. You were friends with my son and his friend. I remember coming to their apartment and having chats with you when you stayed with them. We had little conversations that I enjoyed. Even driving you to work was fun. It was a pleasure to know you and I’ll remember it all for a long time.

Sending my condolences to the family. Although me and my sister  haven’t been in touch with cami for a long time,  we were all really great  friends when she lived in Blaine  . She was always so fun to be around, so crazy and funny, she always knew how to make us laugh! She was also very sweet and caring. Cami came into our life briefly but left a piece of her beautiful nature in our hearts. Cami was a genuine soul, she made a positive impact in all her friends and family’s lives. Cami and i were always very close and i’m glad to have been able to have an amazing sister and best friend. Cami would always make sure everyone was okay, she would take time out of her day to make sure. She helped me through the toughest times in my life and i’m so greatful for that. it will be hard without her for many. i love you cami and always will. rest in peace my dude. :)

Cami was one of my really good friends, I will cherish our memories forever. She was such an amazing soul and always made sure everyone around her was okay. I wont forget the first time we met on my birthday as kids, she ran home to find me a gift as soon as she found out. She brought me back a littlest pet shop bird. Or how we would always let our dogs play together because we were so convinced they were in love. We lost touch after a couple of years but reconnected in highschool and it was like nothing changed, we became close friends once again. I truly feel like it was a friendship meant to be. I will miss our phone calls that lasted hours, her telling me all about her anime shows and trying to get me to watch them, and her random theories about absolutely anything. She will be missed greatly. 

Cami was someone who I valued in my life very much, even if she didn't know it. Cami came into my life late I would say, i wish we had met sooner. Her wisdom was a match for no other and that’s what I valued most. Mason and I miss you so much cami. 

I had the great privilege of meeting Cami, and after we met it was almost everyday we would be out late nights cruising around the streets of Saskatoon talking about anything and everything. She made me feel comfortable with who I was and I was able to open up to her in a way it is hard to in the world today. She had a way with her words that could turn the worst day into the best always ensuring you had a smile on your face. She was a light that never seemed to dim no matter the difficulties and I admired that so much about her, her strength, kindness, and enthusiasm in everything she did. I would often visit her at work and she would give me free pizza and I would sit with her on breaks and eat my pizza and talk with her. She truly will be missed but memories will never be forgotten.

Every-time a group of us would skip class to hang out in the shaw centre, and eat snacks,  Cami was often there, she had the brightest smile, best jokes and a contagious laugh. I’m so glad I got to experience her presence, and amazing personality. Even if it was just a short period of time. I will never forgot how shocked I was that Shay and Cami were sisters after knowing them both for over 3 years. I will forever cherish the time spent with Cami, she will be missed by everyone who got to spend time with her, even if it was a simple smile, and wave. 

Cami embodied the universe; by this I mean Cami could make the best out of any situation. Cami was such an exceptional person that it’s hard to summarize them into a paragraph. I will say Cami had a laugh and smile that lit up the room. Their ability to make anyone feel welcome is something I will always admire. Cami continuously grew to be the best person they could be. There is so much to admire about them. That I hope that their legacy will be carried on through her friends and family. As Cami always had something to admire about them. My favorite memory of them was when we danced in the kitchen while making KD. From Camis Yaoi collection to her sense of humor and her love for a good debate; Cami will always be one of my favorite people. 

First time I seen cami since we were about 6 years old ❤️

Cami was an individual like no other. She had a loud and uplifting presence and could turn someone’s day around just by being herself. She left a great impact on me, my little sister and honestly my whole family. My favourite memories of her would be coming home from school and finding her and my little sister made a mess of the kitchen making slime, her coming to the lake with my family, going to see IT chapter 1, going to the exhibition, oh and I can’t forget the purple cake fiasco. Cami was funny, kind, caring and extremely dedicated (her and my little sister spent two days watching ALL the marvel movies with little to no sleep). Her laughter was contagious. She was an amazing friend to my little sister, they had an incredible bond. There are not enough words in existence to express how much Cami will be missed.

Cami and I spent a lot of time together during our elementary years. Almost every day after school we spent hours playing games and laughing. She always had a way of breaking the silence and making everyone laugh whether that be from sharing one of her crazy ideas or expressing one of her many quarks. She truly left a strong impact on everyone she met. I’ll never forget her smile and laugh that lit up every room, her enthusiasm, and passion for everything in life. 

I loved cami so much. She was a good friend of mine for many years. I don’t even remember all the inside jokes we had because there were so many. She always made sure everyone was happy, and never let any comments phase her. She was the type of person to dance in the middle of a grocery store if a good song came on, someone who’s laugh filled the room and you couldn’t help but start laughing too. She loved going on adventures and making new friends and trying new things. Cami will always be my friend, and knowing shes gone is upsetting, but seeing the amount of people who have known and loved cami just for being her has made me so happy. 

Cami was a close friend to my son Malcolm and she lived nearby. We were so fortunate to spend time with her over the last year. We loved it when she came by to hang out, enjoy a meal, study, or play video games. 

Cami was smart, articulate and resourceful. She and Mal sometimes worked on class work together and they loved to debate. While these discussions were good natured, Cami was great at getting her points across and defending her side of the argument. 

Cami and Malcolm worked at Fresco together. After a short period of time in her new job at Freshco, she was promoted to cashier supervisor. Cami was proud of her work and this promotion meant a lot to her. 

Cami will be missed by our family in so many ways. We will miss her lovely visits in the kitchen while meals were being prepared. We’ll miss her humming and her laughing while playing video games. We’ll miss her smile that lit up the room. We will deeply miss Cami and the joy that she brought to our home.
