

Carrie Ranger (88) of Saskatoon passed away at home of natural causes on the morning of Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Carrie was born on July 16, 1935 on the farm near Little Moose, Saskatchewan. She came to Saskatoon when she was 16 years old where she started working at the Elite Cafe, then continued working at Woolsworths and the OK Economy. Carrie married the love of her life, Ed Ranger, on June 14, 1954. Carrie and Ed spent the last 28 years in retirement together enjoying camping, fishing and looking after their yard. Her husband was her main caregiver in her last few years. Carrie leaves to mourn her husband of 67 years, Ed Ranger, their three daughters, Elaine (Ken) of Saskatoon, Darlene (Norm) near Clavet, and Janet (Dale) of Logan Lake, B.C., as well as 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Carrie and Ed will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon). The family request that if you have memories of Carrie or Ed you may share at the open mic time during the service.
