Catherine "Judy" Shelton

May 19, 1942 ~ January 4, 2017

Judy Shelton, age 74, passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon with family at her side. Judy is dearly loved and remembered by her children Darrell (Lori Ann) Shelton and Yvonne (Ron) Turnbull; grandchildren Jessica, Katie, Emily, Tara (Mike) Darche; great-grandchildren Connor and Logan; brother Abe Schapansky; and in-laws Mavis Schapansky, Joe (Elaine) Shelton and Lucille (Val) Kononoff. Judy was predeceased by her husband Don Shelton; her parents Jacob and Catherine; her brothers Jim (Rosalyn) Schapansky and Ed Schapansky; her sister Mary (Gerald) Steptoe; and nephew Kevin Schapansky. Judy was born and raised in Carrot River, SK. She dedicated her life to raising her two children and caring for her grandchildren, as well tending to her husband and home.  She enjoyed her time at the lake, crafts, traveling and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed tending to her garden, her coffee socials and the time spent in her backyard. A Funeral Service will take place to remember Judy at 11:00am, Monday, January 9th, 2017 at Massey Place Community Church (930 Northumberland Ave). Following the reception, interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
