Cecil Grant Johnston

October 20, 1948- August 3, 2014

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Grant Johnston.  Beloved husband, father and papa who left his most prized possessions to be with the Lord and family who left to heaven before him.  Grant is lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Evelyn, his two sons Todd, Tony (Anna) and daughter Tressa (Duane).  Grant “Papa” is greatly missed by his pride and joys, his grandchildren, Makenna, Kieran, Connor, Thomas, Stefanie, Dexter, Liam, Brenna, Olivia and Calle.  Grant is survived by his mom Leeta, siblings Richard, Norman (Donna) and Bunny (John); his sisters-in-laws, Irene (Bill), Sharon (Rick), Linda; and brother-in-law Ricky; along with numerous nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly.  Grant will be missed by his many coffee buddies.  Grant was a long haul trucker who enjoyed life, always worked hard and when he came home, loved Evelyn’s home cooking.  He loved his family dearly and always enjoyed teasing his nephews, nieces, kids and especially his grandkids.
