

1928 – 2021
It is with sadness that we announce Claire’s passing on January 28, 2021 at the age of 92 years in Saskatoon. She was born near Vonda, SK and grew up in Duck Lake and Vonda. Claire graduated from the University of Regina with a B.Ed degree, and for many years was faculty in the Business Administration program at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST). Claire was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Alfred Trudelle in 2006. For more than 50 years, Claire called Regina home. Together with Alf she enjoyed the friendship of many dear friends. Claire was also a long-standing member of Beta Sigma Phi (Regina) and thoroughly cherished her relationships with several sorority sisters. In 2009, Claire moved to Saskatoon and spent her last years of her life close to her niece, Bonnie, and her family, as well as many “Sirois” cousins. Claire is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Marlaine Sirois; nephew Barry Boutin (Lourdes); and nieces Bonnie Brossart (Kevin), Kerry Bernhardt and Kim Gigante. She was predeceased by her parents, Rene and Edna Sirois; her sister, Jacqueline Boutin; niece, Colleen Phillips and nephew, Jamie Boutin. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of Claire’s life will be held at a later date with interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
