Dana Joanne Royal-Anderson

“Gone too young…but never forgotten”

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden and tragic passing of a daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. Dana was born on Monday, June 28, 1999 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and passed away on Thursday July 7, 2016 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dana attended Pinkham, Dufferin, Rossbrook House, R.B Russell Vocational and Horizons in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was a shy girl at first, but she was also knows as an outgoing, caring and mindful individual, and always made friends along the way. Dana leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents Myrna Royal (Kassa Nuigussie) and Danny Anderson; sisters Janna, Yvonne, and Giulia; brothers Thomas and Leighland; nephews Camryn, Isaiah and Immanuel, who Dana loved and cared for very much; uncles Byron and Randolph; first cousins Caitlyn, Jared, Bryna, Samuel, Bryson, Aiden, Lucian, Darius, Niya, Ronnie and Rona; and special Aunt Karen. Dana was predeceased by her older sister Farrah; uncles Ronald and Eldon; grandmother Yvonne; grandfather Gabriel; great grandmother Pauline; great grandfather Maurice; and cousins Jeremy, Olivia, and Jack. The Wake Service will begin on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 4:00pm and go through until Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Whitecap Dakota School Gym. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Whitecap Cemetery.
