It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of our beloved wife, mom, and nanny. Darlene is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Ed; and their children Doug (Fawn) and son Nicholas, Pam (Greg) and daughter Laurel (Ian) and unborn great-grandchild in July, son Mason; her brother Roger Vogelsang; as well as extended family and many friends. The family wished to thank the staff at RUH emergency and ICU for the excellent care Darlene received. In lieu of flowers, it was Darlene's wish that donations be directed to Circle Drive Special Care Home to enhance the excellent care of the residents. At Darlene's request, no funeral service will be held, with an immediate family memorial to be held at a later date.
