She then devoted her life to working at home to raise their children. Doris was an excellent homemaker. Many will remember the meals she prepared and shared with loving hands for any occasion; she loved holidays and family gatherings. Doris loved flowers and gardening and was rewarded by a bountiful harvest and gorgeous flower beds. Old time country music and dancing always brought joy to Doris. Doris was an excellent wife and mother who by her own example, taught her children and grandchildren to be generous, kind, caring, dedicated and hardworking and to always have a positive outlook. Doris was completely unselfish and always put others first. She had a good sense of humour and enjoyed hearing and telling a good joke. She will be missed by her family and friends, who will cherish forever the memories of their time together.
