Nov 28, 1954 –June 1, 2016
Dorothy was born in North Battleford and enjoyed her early years raised on the Wintersgill farm by Baljennie and had fond memories of visits with aunts, uncles and cousins at Grandma Belands by Denholm. Sadly, Dorothy gave into the relentless battle that plagued her own mind. Her passing has left a deep hole in many of our hearts. She set an example for us all how to be loving and kind. She was so generous and giving, even though she had little, she was constantly sending someone an encouraging card or gift. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sharing her soups, relishes and produce from her garden. First and foremost she loved to share her belief in our God Jehovah and the hope of his coming Kingdom. She had a deep love for children and would have loved to been able to raised one of her own. How we miss You Dot! Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Bernard (1992) and Mary Wintersgill (2011); brothers George Wintersgill (2010) and Randie Haines (2011). Dorothy is survived by her sisters Elaine Dallow, Esther (Bill) Custer and Alma (Henri) Rouseau; brothers Edward (Marylyn) Wintersgill and John Wintersgill, Lee (Wendy) Wintersgill. 28 nieces and nephews, 30 great and 9 great-great. The family would like to thank all of those that participated in locating Dorothy. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (1725 McKercher Dr.) in Saskatoon.
