Dorothy Winnifred Telfer

at Sherbrooke Community Centre in Saskatoon, at the age of 92. Dorothy was born December 20, 1919 in Saskatoon. She married Robert Telfer in 1941. She is survived by her son Robert Telfer of Edmonton, Alberta; her granddaughter Melinda Gail Rebalkin (Gordon) of Langham; her two precious great-grandchildren, who she adored, Mckayla and Noah Rebalkin; her sister Mary Parent of St. Catherines, Ontario; her long time friend and companion Roy Hunt of Saskatoon; her sister-in-law Doreen Girling of Saskatoon; many nephews, nieces and cousins; and all of her friends of many years who she cherished. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Robert Telfer; two brothers, Frank and Bill Girling; two sisters Edith Kraliz and June Kielly; and her grandson Robert (Bobby) Telfer. Dorothy will be remembered most for her love of family and friends, as that is what was most important to her. The family would like to thank all the staff at Sherbrooke Community Centre, who truly are angels on Earth, for making our Mom and Gram so comfortable. The Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held on Tuesday February 28, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. from Acadia McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Dr, Saskatoon).
