Douglas Christopher Michael Reagan
Age 66 of Saskatoon, SK. passed away in his home on April 20, 2025.
Doug was born on June 17, 1958 in Flin Flon, MB. to Bernard and Beatrice Reagan. He was the middle child of three brothers, with Stephan the eldest and the youngest, Bruce.
Doug moved to Saskatoon as a young man and worked in many different restaurants during his career as a cook, manager and owner in the industry. When he lost his vision, that didn’t stop him from pursuing other interests and he went back to school, receiving a human resources diploma.
He went on to work at Walmart in a manager position for several years and most recently was semi-retired and working at Winners. He was always a hard worker and did whatever he needed to do to help provide for his family and take care of himself.
Doug was a passionate sports fan. He was partial to hockey and the CFL, but he actually loved watching any sports on TV from golf to curling and anything in between. He was a devoted and unwavering Montreal Canadiens fan, which he passed down to his son, James. He also could be found cheering on Saskatchewan Roughriders and talking in detail to everyone about all the games. He had a knack for remembering quirky facts and enjoyed watching Jeopardy and playing cards. His favourite games were Crib and Kaiser. He was proud of his Irish heritage and loved to talk about where the Reagan family came from. He was involved with The Knights of Columbus for many years and enjoyed being around his family and friends in celebrations.
Doug lived a quiet and private life. He was always very proud of his children and grandchildren and loved hearing about their adventures and accomplishments. He found joy in their happiness and always wanted the best for them. He will be fondly remembered and missed by many, leaving us too soon.
Doug is survived by his three children, Terri (Harlan) Macleod, Adam (Morgan) Reagan, and James Reagan. Grandchildren, Olivia and Cohen Macleod and Lexie, Troy and Haydin Reagan. Brothers, Stephan (Karen) Reagan and Bruce (Lori) Reagan, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Bernard and mother, Beatrice Reagan.
The Memorial Service will be held at St Patrick Parish Ctr, 3339 Centennial Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6V4 on Saturday May 3 at 11am. Family internment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatoon Food bank.
