Earl Wallace died suddenly at his home near Radisson, SK on January 25, 2020 at the age of 68. He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen, sisters Diane, Pam and Brenda, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Earl was born in Edmonton, AB. He had a long career in the petroleum industry. As well as working “hands on”, he developed and taught many programs in the safety field. Earl worked across Canada and in many countries in all parts of the world – from Siberia to Oman, from China and the Philippines to countries across South America. He enjoyed travelling and meeting people from many different cultures. He always managed to fit in and feel at home wherever he went. Earl brought many photographs and wonderful stories back to his family and friends. In addition to his work abroad, Earl enjoyed farm life, fishing, hunting and camping. From the time he was a small boy he always had animals in his life. His last dog Toby was his loving protector and companion for 13 years and they died within a week of each other. His last words to Toby before he was put to sleep were “Save a place for me.” Earl will be sorely missed by his family and his many friends. As per his request, there will be no funeral service.
