Edmund Rogers

Died July 1, 2016 in Saskatoon; perhaps not in the city he loved best, as he resided in Victoria, but certainly amidst family, whose "home" meant a life that included him! Many will miss Ed, even those who didn't know his name, but were greeted with a bright hello if he passed them with his walking sticks, or while he was reclined on a random park bench doing his back exercises. He loved the Lord, family, nature, music, and sports. His heart was ever grateful for knowing he lived the good life; each prayer always had a thank you. Dad was proud of the fact that he was a grandfather of 17 and great-grampie of 9. He taught us all to make the best of each day, to suffer the losses in life, and find your smile again by still counting the blessings. He was 92 years amazing, and we will miss him very much! Left to remember him are his children Michael (Val), Steven (Debbie), MaryAnne Rogers, and Sheila Trumpy (Dennis) and their families. Ed was predeceased by his wife Mary, son Peter, and granddaughter Rachel . A Funeral will be held at Holy Spirit, July 9, 2016 at 2:00.
