Edwalt passed away at RUH after a lengthy stay. Edwalt, the 9th of 13 children, was born to Adolph & Lydia Hanke of the Bainesville district. He is survived by his wife Margaret; daughter Teresa (Richard) Halvorsen; son Glenn (Cynthia); grandchildren Tonya, Ryan, Colby, Amanda and Bradley. He is also survived by four siblings: Freda, Lillian, Otto and Lloyd. Edwalt worked at CPR from July 31, 1958 and retired December 1991 to his immaculate acreage. The Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church (454 Egbert Ave) on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (279 - 3rd Ave North Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8) or Diabetes Association (104-2301 Ave C North, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5X5).
