Eldon Terry Royal

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a brother, father, uncle, grandfather, nephew, cousin and friend. Eldon leaves to mourn his passing, 3 sisters, Cecille, Norma (Dexter) and Karen (Conon); 7 brothers, Delbert, Floyd, Carl (Debbie), Douglas, Frank (Colette), Cyrus and Ryan; 4 daughters, Alexandra, Kelly, Chelsy, and Preslee; five sons, Elwood, Larock, Eldon, Vernon and Cory; 3 granddaughters, Emma, Alayiah and Dakota; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, a special uncle Willis Royal; his common law wife, Keri Magnus; and mother to Larock, Sherry Bird. Eldon attended school in Moose Woods, Prince Albert Indian Residential School and in Riverview Collegiate in Saskatoon. He had also taken a 4 year apprentice carpentry course. Eldon was predeceased by grandfathers, Paul Littlecrow and Robert Royal; grandmothers, Martha Redbear and Catherine Peters; his mother, Pauline; father, Maurice; sister, Yvonne; brother, Irvin; great niece, Farrah; nephew, Ronald; Uncle Irvin and Aunt Ina. The Wake commences at 4:00PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 through to the Funeral Service which will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 2:00PM from Whitecap Dakota First Nation Gymnasium.
